Imagine living in a building that offers 360-degree views while moving independently just by the sound of your voice. In just a few short years, it could be your reality.
By 2020, the “Dynamic Tower,” a brilliant concept first proposed in 2008 by Israeli-Italian architect David Fisher from Dynamic Architecture, will be the first of its kind to tower over a city with cutting-edge technology that you’ve never seen before.
Once it’s completed, the 80-story apartment building will have constantly rotating floors surrounding a fixed elevator. Basically, it’ll be like the moving staircases in Hogwarts taken to a whole new level. But fret not, you won’t be able to feel it. And not only will each floor move at a direction and speed via a simple voice command, they’ll be customizable so each resident can control their space as they wish. Plus, the rotating tower will feature wind turbines between each floor to power the building!
Surely, living in a place like this comes at a hefty price – $30 million for just one apartment! But with totally customizable views and the ability to watch the sun rise and set from your same window every day, the cost seems fair. Learn more in the video below! Still not interested?
